The respondent’s permission is obtained to record the interview for analysis purposes. You receive a verbatim transcript of what was said, with key customer comments identified.
In blind interviews, these customers did not know they were talking to you. They had no reason to slant their comments either for or against you or your competitors. These comments were NOT written by anyone in your sales or marketing departments and then signed by the customer. These are “direct-from-the-horse’s-mouth” comments as if you were a fly on the wall, listening to two executives discussing why they made their decision. There are no stronger, more powerful statements. You can use these statements as proof for any messages you are sending to your sales reps or management.
